Our facilities are utilized not only for community engagement but also for providing valuable education through donations for boating education. The primary facility use will be as a classroom for various boating safety programs, catering to both the public and Coast Guard Auxiliary members, while also supporting donations for boating education.

The Value of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in promoting boating safety programs is invaluable. Flotilla 11-1 Clearwater actively engages the community by encouraging donations for boating education, ensuring that everyone can learn essential skills for safe boating. Additionally, the facility use by the Auxiliary helps provide a conducive environment for these important initiatives.
The acquisition of the BESAFE, Inc. Center of Excellence in boating education, which includes administrative offices and resources for our BE SAFE Partners, requires $425,000 to support our boating safety programs and facilitate donations for boating education.
