Clearwater Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla
History. The Clearwater Flotilla is one of Florida’s oldest and largest flotillas and needed a facility as they had no permanent home. For over 60 years they were nomadic. The permanent location will help them better serve the public and their membership.
Operating Locations. They have operated out of several locations over the years: the “old” Clearwater Municipal Auditorium; the Clearwater Marine Aquarium; the Clearwater Community Sailing Center; downtown Clearwater Police Department; and the Cheek Powell Pavilion of Morton Plant Hospital.
